About This Product

Why you'll love the Rossignol Arcade 80 + XP 10 2027 from Ski West

The Rossignol Arcade 80 + XP 10 pairs a lightweight, poplar-core ski with Rossignol's Xpress 10 GW binding, built for skiers past the rental fleet and ready to develop real technique on groomed terrain. The poplar core, reinforced with fibreglass rather than metal, stays light and easy to flex, so linking turns takes noticeably less effort than on a stiffer, heavier setup — ideal for building mileage on the wide, perfectly groomed cruisers at Nakiska. An extended sidecut stays in contact with the snow through the full arc of a turn, so the ski grips predictably at moderate speeds without punishing small technique errors. Tip and tail rocker eases you into each turn and softens the ride over minor bumps and tracked-out patches, while VAS damping quiets the small vibrations that can make a light ski feel skittish. The Xpress 10 GW binding is tool-free and roughly 700 grams lighter than a traditional alpine binding, so the package feels easy to manage on and off the snow. GripWalk-compatible and ready to grow with you.

Features

Poplar Core with Fibreglass Reinforcement — Unlike the metal-laminate Arcade 88 and 94, the Arcade 80 skips titanal in favour of a PEFC-certified poplar core and fibreglass layup. On snow, that means less mass to muscle around: the ski flexes and releases easily at the moderate speeds most progressing skiers actually ski at, so effort goes into learning good habits rather than fighting a heavy, overbuilt plank.

Extended Sidecut — By running the sidecut further into the tip and tail, the ski holds full-length contact with the snow at speed for predictable grip, while still rotating easily and playfully at lower speeds — a forgiving combination for skiers who are still refining their edge control.

Tip & Tail Rocker + VAS Damping — Rocker at both ends smooths turn initiation and absorbs the small bumps and chatter typical of a busy groomer run, while Vibration Absorption System (VAS) technology cuts down on the buzzy feel that lightweight skis can sometimes have — keeping the ride calm and confidence-inspiring.

Xpress 10 GW Binding — A lightweight composite construction shaves roughly 700g compared to a traditional alpine binding, with tool-free adjustment across a wide range of boot sole lengths. GripWalk-compatible, so it pairs cleanly with most of today's boot soles right off the shop floor.
