At Ski West, we stand behind the products we sell. If you’re experiencing an issue with equipment purchased from us, our team is here to help guide you through the warranty process quickly and professionally.
We work directly with our brand partners to ensure legitimate warranty claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer policies.
What Qualifies for Warranty?
Warranty coverage is determined by the manufacturer and typically applies to:
Manufacturing defects
Material flaws
Workmanship issues
Warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Accidental damage or misuse
Damage caused by impact (rocks, rails, crashes, etc.)
If you're unsure whether your issue qualifies, bring the product in and we will assess it with you.
How the Warranty Process Works
1. Bring the item into Ski West
Please bring the product and your proof of purchase.
For online orders, send an email to orders@skiwest.ca. In your email, please include a description and 2-3 clear photos of the defect.
2. In-Store Assessment
Our team will inspect the item and determine if it appears to be a potential manufacturer defect.
3. Submission to Brand
If eligible, we submit the claim directly to the manufacturer on your behalf.
4. Brand Review & Decision
The manufacturer makes the final warranty decision. Processing times vary by brand and time of season.
5. Resolution
If approved, the brand may repair, replace, or credit the item based on their policy.
Processing Time
Warranty timelines vary depending on the brand and time of year. During peak winter months, turnaround times may be longer. We will keep you informed throughout the process.
