Prime 20 Mechanical Stretch Shell
- The 20K/20K waterproof-breathable fabric is fully seam-sealed and paired with YKK® waterproof zippers. It holds up to heavy snowfall and the odd wet spring day.
- Mechanical stretch comes from the weave, not added elastane. The shell moves with you through pole plants, reaches and deep turns without binding at the shoulders.
- A PFC-free (C0) DWR finish helps snow bead off the surface.
Zoned Thermore® Insulation
- The body gets 80 g Thermore® Freedom for core warmth, and the sleeves get a lighter 60 g Thermore® Classic so your arms don't overheat when working hard.
- The hood is filled with Thermore® Ecodown Genius synthetic down, so it adds warmth over or under a helmet without bulk.
- All three fills are made from 100% recycled polyester and keep insulating when damp.
Mountain-Ready Details
- The helmet-compatible hood has three-way adjustment. An integrated stretch powder skirt and stretch hand gaiters keep blower snow out on deep days.
- Underarm vents and a fog-free placket help dump heat on sunny laps or hikes.
- Storage includes an insulated chest media pocket with phone leash (it keeps batteries alive in the cold), a second zipped chest pocket, two zipped hand pockets, a sleeve pass pocket and an internal mesh goggle pocket.
- Articulated elbows and stretch lining in key areas add mobility. The Velcro® cuffs and hem adjustment are reachable from inside the hand pockets.
