PHANTOM Glide is not wax. PHANTOM Glide differs from traditional wax because wax is not permanent. Wax is a temporary glide solution that functions only by coating the top layer of your base. After just a few runs, traditional wax wears off and glide performance diminishes. 

PHANTOM’s patent-pending polymer technology offers ultimate convenience combined with great glide performance. Cured PHANTOM is an inert substance, meaning your skis or snowboard can continue to glide while not contaminating the watershed.

Permanence breeds ultimate convenience. With PHANTOM, you apply the formula once at any point in your ski or snowboard’s life cycle, whether new or used. It’s that simple. PHANTOM’s sophisticated, timed polymerization process permanently penetrates deep into the base material with powerful go-fast PFAS free formula designed to operate across all snow temperatures. Even when the ski or snowboard goes into a shop for stone grinding, the next fresh layer of PHANTOM is exposed – ready to glide.

After PHANTOM Glide has been absorbed into the base, UV light is used to activate the curing process, permanently bonding PHANTOM Glide to the base material. This can be accomplished using a PHANTOM Glide Cure Station or natural, outdoor sunlight. After a single finishing pass with a roto brush or PHANTOM Glide Polishing Pad, your base(s) are fully treated and ready to glide.
