A1 Core
Lightweight, snappy, and durable, K2's A1 Core is made from three renewable species of timber - Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia. Aspen-dominant to highlight the snap and response of this wood, combined with Bamboo at 30 ° underfoot to increase strength, supercharge the edge-to-edge response, and increase the pressure distribution along the edge. K2 also placed lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail help to reduce swing weight.

A fiberglass weave intersecting at three angles provides extra torsional stiffness and overall strength.
Spectral Braids
Spectral Braid is a patent pending variable angle carbon weave that allows for precision tuned torsion and flex by altering the fiber orientation along the length of the snowboard. A tighter weave near the tip and tail produce tortionally stiff flex for rapid board response, while a looser weave in between the inserts allows for a softer torsional flex for precision control and board handling.
