Awesome boot! I am a former ski patroller and my daughter has skied this boot in different sizes for several years now. She seems to outgrow them each season so we just keep getting her the Nordica Speedmachine J Girl boots. This year she is in the four buckle model. She now rips on the greens and cruises blues with ease and even ventures onto black diamonds with her daddy. She skis in all conditions with these from soft groomers to bulletproof freezing days and being that we live in Fernie, she loves powder days. These boots handle it all with ease. The smile on her face never leaves and she tells me they are the best boots a little girl could ask for. I don't think there is a better evaluation than that! I've looked around and this is the best kids boot on the market short of a full on junior race boot. For some kids this is their race boot. It is forgiving enough to give them the confidence to really gain some skills without punishing little ones who are still working on their basic skills, yet it provides excellent support and control for ripping hard, bell-to-bell, if their skills and legs are up to the task. It performs flawlessly, seems to be warm enough and is also an A+ for comfort, even though it is capable of supporting little skiers who have the skills to really rip. Nordica really hit it out of the park with this boot! These boots are powering a pair of Black Crows Junius Birdie skis. I recommend this boot to all my friends with kids and anyone who asks me for advice on kids' ski boots. 10 out of 10!
