Wool insulates very well against the cold and is a healthy and friendly raw material for our body. Its fibres are derived from the hair coats of animals that have to cope with extreme weather conditions and therefore have thermoregulatory properties. Its high hygroscopicity (absorption of perspiration) makes woollen garments extremely comfortable to wear.
