Key Features
Floating Tongue construction: When climbing, the tongue glides horizontally over the cuff, allowing for a natural walking motion with a generous 70-degree cuff rotation while simultaneously eliminating pressure points and friction.
Adjustment dial: Ratcheting dial that allows you to adjust the floating tongue over your instep and fit volume in three dimensions.
Hoji Lock Walk Mode: A single rear lever separates the cuff and shell for touring, unlocking 70° of resistance-free cuff rotation, then re-engages the same cable system to pretension the boot back into a locked, 12°-forward-lean ski mode. No re-buckling required at the transition, which matters when you're losing daylight on a long tour.
Lightweight Construction: Shell, cuff, and spoiler are all made from Grilamid (with carbon fibers,) rather than the traditional polyurethane (PU). This keeps the boot stiff and reactive while conserving weight, with the added benefit of making it more temperature stable, ideal for when you get talked into a -25° dawn patrol up Bow Summit.
