  • Because it leaves no detergent residue, using Nikwax Tech Wash for all cleaning of your waterproof-breathable garments will help get the longest possible life from the factory applied DWR (Durable Water Repellency).

    Tech Wash is also excellent for pre-washing items before applying Nikwax TX-Direct, and other Nikwax treatments such as Polar Proof, Down Proof, or repellency restorers from other manufacturers. It can be added to a load in the washing machine or applied directly for spot treatment of grease and stains.

    WASH INSCRUCTIONS

    IMPORTANT: Do not use conventional detergents.

    Front Loading Machine Wash:

    1. Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
    2. Place maximum of 2 garments in washing machine.
    3. Add 3floz (100ml) of Tech Wash®.
    4. Select a normal cycle using warm/cold water and an extra rinse if possible.

    Top Loading Machine Wash:

    1. Place maximum 6 garments in washing machine.
    2. After the machine has filled, 5floz (150ml) for 1-3 garments, 8floz (250ml) for 4-6 garments.
    3. Select a normal cycle using warm/cold water and an extra rinse if possible.

    Drying:

    Do not dry before waterproofing. Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
