The Blaze 114 is as versatile as it is wide. It’s also crafted with sustainability in mind—Völkl incorporates a recycled base, FSC-certified wood, and their Green Core technology. Instead of traditional PU foam, the core’s Isocore component is made from recycled PET bottles. When it comes to performance, the Blaze 114 is built for off-piste adventures. Thanks to its excellent weight-to-performance ratio, it’s also a solid choice for freeride touring. With a relatively tight 18-meter turning radius for a 192 cm ski, it offers a level of agility rarely found in this class. This nimbleness is further enhanced by an open radius at both the tip and tail, combined with a tip and tail rocker.

For high-speed stability, a 0.3 mm Titanal sheet is strategically placed above the sidewall in the center of the ski, integrated into the 3D Radius Sidecut. Giving perecise edge control you’ll feel in every turn. And while it’s built for the backcountry, the Blaze 114 handles the occasional groomer surprisingly well. To maintain agility, Titanal is omitted from the front and rear outer zones. Additionally, the ski’s flex increases with its length, ensuring that heavier or taller skiers get the same dynamic ride as lighter or smaller skiers using shorter lengths.
