Suspension Blade

The core innovation of the Shadow series. The blade on the boot's spine connects the cuff and shell, acting as an external power booster.

When you flex the boot, the Suspension Blade engages, storing energy like a leaf spring and then releasing it for a powerful rebound. This technology allows a skier to access the power of a much stiffer boot without the associated effort or discomfort. It amplifies input, providing a dynamic, energetic feel that makes turning feel more intuitive and less fatiguing.

Dual Pivot

This enhanced pivot design works with the Suspension Blade to create a more efficient lever.

Two distinct pivot points provide a mechanical advantage, making it easier to flex the boot and transmit power to the ski's edge. For female skiers, who often have a different center of mass, this efficiency is key. It helps drive modern all-mountain skis with more control and less effort.

Women's Specific Fit & Cuff

This is not just a downsized men's boot. It's built from the ground up for women.

The cuff height is lower to accommodate the anatomical difference in women's calf muscles, which typically attach lower on the leg. The liner and shell are shaped for a woman's foot, which is often narrower in the heel and wider in the forefoot. This tailored design prevents calf pinch, improves comfort, and allows for a more natural and effective stance on the ski.

Auxetic Technology & Thinsulate® Liner

The boot features a highly advanced, women's-specific liner.

• Auxetic Technology: The material expands when stretched, allowing it to form a perfect, three-dimensional mold of your foot for an unparalleled anatomical fit.

• Thinsulate® Insulation: This lightweight, low-profile insulation is integrated into the forefoot to provide exceptional warmth without adding bulk or compromising the performance fit.

The result is a liner that is simultaneously precise, comfortable, and warm—the trifecta for a great day on the mountain. The boot uses the Customizable Core Custom 3 liner.

Dual Core Shell

Lange's signature shell technology is used to fine-tune the boot's performance.

Two different densities of plastic are co-injected, creating a shell that is rigid and powerful where needed (chassis, spine) but softer in other areas to aid with wrapping the foot and making entry/exit easier. Delivers a lively feel and powerful energy transmission while maintaining a high degree of comfort.
