The Biomimicry Series continues its evolution, and the Gamma stands as the latest result of engineers' unwavering commitment to drawing inspiration from the natural world to enhance snowboarding. With its uniquely distinctive appearance, they have once again exceeded expectations.

Nidecker's approach involved harnessing asymmetry to amplify grip, mirroring the way alpine creatures employ slightly offset paws to gracefully navigate mountainous landscapes. Although the Gamma maintains a symmetrical twin design from nose to tail, the heel and toe edges exhibit distinct shaping. This design choice accounts for the variation in precision when turning on each edge. Notably, the heelside sidecut on the Gamma is notably tighter than the toe side, resulting in enhanced control during frontside turns and carving. This dynamic holds true in both directions, offering particularly good news for riders who relish riding switch.

The twin shape serves as a clear indicator of the Gamma's intentions: we crafted this board for those who find it impossible to resist attempting tricks on any natural feature encountered on their path. Whether it's seeking out side-hits along the trail or executing freestyle maneuvers in soft slush or deep powder, the Gamma excels. Building on this concept, Nidecker has integrated the Evolution Spoon Nose from the Alpha and Beta models. For the first time, they've extended the same 3D shape, known for its seamless edge-to-edge transition, to the tail as well. This ensures uniformity in smooth turns and front-end buoyancy while also introducing a looser feel when riding flat-based. This quality complements the board's razor-sharp precision when on edge. Paired with our tried-and-tested camrock profile, the Master Core, POP Carbon, and N-7000 base, the Gamma offers immense enjoyment as it lends itself to playful maneuvers and creativity, regardless of your location on the mountain.

Asymmetrical Twin - "Surfy" Camrock Profile w/ 3D Tip - Provides a feeling of surfing on the power. The asym twin makes it easy to land or ride switch while maintaining a balanced ride.

Premium Sandwich - Carbon and Kevlar gives the board more pop and improved shock absorption

Fibreglass - Biax Plus retains the properties of our tried and tested 90° biaxial fiberglass weave but we use more glass to enhance power transfer. It’s uncompromising in it’s response and energy return, and loved and coveted by riders searching for a good blend of stiff & damp wherever they rip

Base - Developed exclusively for Nidecker, the N-7000 is an extremely tough, sintered base with added carbon nanoparticles that provide exceptional glide

Absorbnid - An innovative toplayer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations

Master Core - The perfect harmony of various wood densities and varieties (poplar, beech, spruce, and paulownia)
