K2 Hypnotist 2024

K2 utilized their reliable tri-blend BAP core as the fundamental basis for the Hypnotist model. They introduced Carbon DarkWeb™ to enhance edge-to-edge transitions, while the novel tip-to-tail Carbon Backbone™ was incorporated to amplify responsiveness.

For heightened spin control, reduced swing weight, and minimized tip and tail vibrations, K2 substituted the core's tip and tail with SpaceGlass™ construction. This SpaceGlass™ is both lighter and harder than wood, setting the Hypnotist in a category of its own. K2 rounded off the package by utilizing a wax-infused 4001 Sintered Base from Crown - this base material is their hardest and fastest offering.

Shape: 

True Twin - Ride regular or switch and you're in for a good time. If you were to fold this board in half, you would find perfect symmetry from tip to tail. Jib, spin and stomp with confidence and perfect balance.

Construction:

BAP - A core made from Bamboo, Aspen and Paulownia. A blend of three renewable species which make a strong and lightweight core, with plenty of dampening.

Spaceglass Tip & Tail - Spaceglass construction is lighter and harder than wood, which reduces chatter and swingweight, so you can squeeze that extra spin in. 

Carbon Backbone - Increases the snap of the board, without making the tip and tail unneccesarily stiff.

Carbon Darkweb - A carbon layup that helps direct power where you need it, by speeding up edge to edge transitions.

Triax Glass - Glass laminate with diagonal layers to add torsional stiffness to the board.

Sintered 4001 Base – A wax infused sintered base, which is the hardest and fastest sintered material from Crown, this base holds wax longer for a smoother ride.
